These courses were directed to Arab faculty members to raise their awareness and train them on integrating the concept of gender in university courses. Two of these sessions were held, each consisting two parts, the first devoted to sensitize about the issues and the second dedicated for the training of trainers to enable them to impart their acquired knowledge to larger circles among faculty members in the Member States.

The first training course was implemented through two workshops, the first aimed at raising awareness and the second to training of trainers, consecutively held in AWO’s headquarters in Cairo, from 8-11 May 2006 and 15 January 2007. The Second session (with its two parts) was held from 8-13 December 2007, in AWO headquarters in Cairo.
