The agreement establishing the AWO and its internal rules and regulations require it to hold one conference every two years, to provide information on the work of AWO and present the national experiences of Member States.
 
The First Conference "Six Years after the First Arab Women Summit: Achievements and Challenges" was held in 2006,  November 13-15, in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the auspices of H.R.H Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of AWO (2005-2007).
The Second Conference "Women in the Concept and Issues of Human Security: “Arab and International Perspectives"  was held in 2008, November 11-13, in the United Arab Emirates under the auspices of Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, President of AWO (2007-2009).
The Third Conference "Arab Women as Main Partners in Sustainable Development" was held in 2010, October 28-30, was hosted by the Republic of Tunisia, under the auspices of Her Excellency Mrs. Leila Ben Ali, President of the AWO (1-3-2009 to 15-1-2011).
The Fourth Conference "Women's Entrepreneurship in the Arab world"Development  and Leadership" will be held in 2013, February 25-27, was hosted by The People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, under the auspices of his Excellency President Abdel Aziz Boutaflika .
