Dr. Aicha Ettaib Lecturer in Sociology at the Graduate Institute of Human Sciences, University of Tunis El Manar.  Holds a PhD in sociology in 1998 from the University of Tunisia the First. Worked as an Expert at the planning and programs Department, Arab Women Organization in Cairo. 

She worked as consultant in the development of rural communities in a number of international bodies like the World Bank and German Development Bank and Japan Bank for cooperation.

Participated in many conferences and scientific seminars in Tunisia and in many Arab and Western countries. she has many of the studies and scientific research on women's issues and gender, migration and development and the sociology of work.
